History
of American Tri-Star
In
1976 after serving in the military in the States, Europe, Vietnam
and teaching at West Point Military Academy, Roy Edmonds found
himself back in college at Stephen F. Austin. Going to school,
driving a school bus and manager of an automotive repair shop
to make ends meet.
American
Tri-Star was born in the oil fields of East Texas. Working at
installing Emergency Shut Down Systems on Gas Wells, installing
pipeline systems and preparing site locations for wells.
The
business grew and expanded over the years. Commercial Roofing,
Concrete, Steel, Asphalt Paving, Building Construction, Commercial
Painting and so on the business changed and grew.

a Texas Corporation, serving the Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana
areas. We have the highest rated contractor license available
in Louisiana.
We
serve the institutional, com-mercial, industrial, manufacturing
and paper mill businesses in the three state areas.
Large
enough to handle the mulit-million dollar repairs to United Technologies
Carrier when it was struck by a tornado in 2000, small enough
to refurbish and place in service the Founders Fountain at Tyler
Junior College. We understand that service is still the basics
of the business.
